Mission
The Utility Contractors Association of Connecticut (UCAC) is a non-profit trade association representing the underground utility and site work construction industry in Connecticut. UCAC contractor members perform work to improve and enhance the utility infrastructure, which includes the following:
- Site Work
- Stormwater Sewers
- Sanitary Sewers
- Drainage Systems
- Water lines
- Cables
- Ducts
- Conduits
- Gas lines
- Tunneling
- Boring
- Trenchless Technology
Goals
Since 1970, UCAC has helped to:
- Define, establish and preserve the identity and common interests of the Utility Contracting Industry.
- Promote better relations between members, governmental agencies, other associations, other contractors and suppliers, manufacturers, engineers, and the public.
- Disseminate information relative to the industry in which Associate members are engaged.
- Encourage and provide education of the members in the economical and profitable pursuit of the Utility Contracting Industry.
