Join UCAC members and friends for a totally relaxing evening with amazing steaks, drinks, networking and hand-rolled cigars on the deck at Millpond Gatherings in Northford.  Millpond, owned by Buzzuto’s, is a beautiful, historic property nestled among farms with gorgeous views.  You’ll enjoy a delicious steak dinner with your choice of filet mignon or 14 oz dry aged boneless ribeye, family style accompaniments and drinks at the bar followed by dessert and hand-rolled cigars.

Entertainment

Nate Jones

Nate Jones is a GRAMMY Ballot Artist who started playing guitar at 18 and found a second home behind the drums at the age of 20. After graduating from University of Rhode Island, he started playing live shows in New England. Since then, he has toured throughout the US and Europe! Nate’s song “SAFE AS WE CAN” is listed on the Official Ballot for the 2019 GRAMMY Awards by the Recording Academy in two categories: “Best Rock Performance” for the music video and “Best Rock Song” for the musical composition.

The mission of Millpond Gatherings is to create a destination location that guests near and far yearn to visit. They serve the freshest local foods, celebrate the joining of families and friends, and offer a place to stay and explore the historic property and surrounding farmland.

MEET EXECUTIVE CHEF, PEDRO AVILA

Pedro Avila began his culinary career in Chicago and quickly moved up the ladder. He has held various kitchen positions, including sous chef at Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse, Executive Chef for David Burke Prime at Foxwoods Resort Casino, and now Executive Chef of Millpond Gatherings. Avila’s cuisine respects steakhouse tradition while ushering it into the future. Avila’s love for the food arts was sparked by his mother’s culinary talents at home. Her love for and devotion to her family inspired his leadership style and his successful strong kitchen culture.
