Tell us a little about your job.
I am a sales representative for Barry Equipment. We are a heavy equipment dealership specializing in construction, forestry, and paving equipment. I cover the state of CT, working with customers to get them the right equipment for the job.
Do you have any hobbies or passions outside of work?
I am pretty active guy, enjoy going to the gym and playing men’s league hockey.
Why did you apply to join the UCAC Board of Directors?
Think it was an organization worth joining. It is important to know and learn as much as possible in the industry that I work in. It’s not just about making sales, but educating myself so that I can understand better what contractors have to deal with on a daily basis, especially when it comes to utility work. What I do day to day is only a small fraction of the industry.
What do you hope to accomplish with your time on the UCAC Board?
I would love to help this organization in many ways, whether that be increasing membership or helping set up events. More importantly its about learning for me, and continuing to grow and understand this field so I am better equipped for my job.
What have you gained from being a member of UCAC?
Becoming a member has most certainly built my network up. I’ve met lots of different contractors and vendors that I can either work with or alongside. The success of the other members of UCAC determines my success!
